A barrier to be overcome is the willingness to have, or invest in, coaching. According to a recent survey less than 30% of English golfers have had a lesson in the last twelve months. Our PGA training not only equips us in how to coach golfers it also gives us the ability to develop individual education and development programmes and plans. Programmes and plans made up of coaching, practice and real game feedback designed to improve your golf.
So why not come and have an initial chat your PGA Pro, and see what help you build your own personal 3-month plan that includes:
a) A review of your current game and what areas, considering your constraints, you have the ability to improve on,
b) Writing down and detailing the measure of the improvement that you want to achieve over the set time period,
c) The steps to improvement
1. Yes we will almost certainly suggest a coaching / tuition session or a programme based upon the scale of improvement required,
2. A series of practice drills to re-enforce the improvement,
3. A mental key that will initiate the right actions and decisions on the golf course under game pressure
4. Real analysis on a regular basis of the new performance in the specific areas of improvement required.
d) A formal time when we chat again to evaluate whether the improvement was as required, disappointing or even better than expected.
Visit your local PGA Golf Professional for expert advice on all aspects of golf. The PGA golf professional will have been trained to a very high standard and will have a broad knowledge of all areas of the game.
Throughout the world you will be only a short journey away from your nearest PGA Pro and here you can build a relationship with a male or female that will bring your game to the next level.
