Oil from "Down Under", Tea tree oil is yellow / greenish tinged essential oil extracted from the leaves of Melaleuca Alternifolia.
Australian natives used tea tree for antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, insecticidal, and immune stimulant properties. The essential oil steam distilled from its leaves and twigs to treat range of ailments like cold, sores, acnes and even whooping cough.
