We are living through extremely critical and dangerous times in this country’s history. These are times that will shape not only this country but the world in profound ways affecting all facets of life, finances, freedoms and health. The interesting thing about this time in our history is that “health care” is the vehicle our adversaries are using to gain unprecedented power over our lives and health care is a topic I write a lot about. I understand what health care really is because I worked in the industry for over forty years.

Being a member of this industry I gained unique experiences that give me insights into understanding what health care is and what it should be. I do not like the direction those seeking power over you and me are taking us under the disguise of health care reform. Health care, and the emotions and fears people attach to possible catastrophic expenses, is being distort in truly dishonest ways. Politicians are famous for “shading” the truth, or speaking “half truths” when they are in front of microphones.

We must always remember that a shaded truth or a half truth is still a full lie. I am tired of politicians being dishonest with us and worse, thinking we are too stupid to see the ruse.

The good news is we can correct anything we do not like through the ballot box, but this requires we educate ourselves enough to vote intelligently. If you care enough to want things done right and are willing to learn the common sense truths about health care I invite you to follow my writings. The subject of health care is so broad and comprehensive (notice I did not say complicated) we will cover the information a little at a time.

I began my career in health care before the government got involved and was there to see just how incompetent government is in running social programs, or really programs of any kind. The sad truth is that if you are older than sixty years of age you probably have no recollection of how well “free enterprise” health care worked. I look forward to sharing these experiences with you in future articles. I have seen the growth of health insurance plans that are partially responsible for health care costs being over priced by as much at 70%. Further these health insurance plans have become vehicles for graft and corruption by everyone receiving government compensation for treating patients. Lawyers are another group of people responsible for increased health care costs.

The truth is lawyers have no business in health care. They are responsible for excessive expenses that health care practitioners must bear and they contribute absolutely nothing to anyone’s health.

There are many more areas we can talk about including Americans and their excessive use of legal drugs, and how many people suffer from some kind of affliction there may be no cure for, and they have to learn to live with it. It’s called life and if we can learn to live a life where we eat properly and exercise properly we can reduce by over 60% the chances of incurring illnesses. There is an easy and inexpensive way to alleviate the fear of catastrophic health care costs and I will be writing about that as well.
