FIXING HEALTH CARE: Government Health Care Works?

Background: The current health care debate seems to assume some kind of “government” run program is the best option to rein in rising health care costs that are threatening not only the financial health of millions of Americans, but their physical health as well. The only voices being heard, thanks to a biased news media, are those in our population that seem to think “health insurance” is an American “right” and thus the responsibility of our politicians to provide it. And of course the politician’s voices are telling us they can and will provide a government run health care program even though they have no clue of how to do it and worse, they are telling us the costs can be contained which history proves is a bold-faced lie. Not included in the debate is the fact that “universal” health care has never worked anywhere in the world it has been tried. If anything, “universal” health care around the world has made getting good health care an impossibility everywhere it has been tried.
Real Life Scary Example: Rather than being very wordy and redundant here is an example of what we face if government run health care becomes a reality. The person who told me about this incident lived it and participated in it as well. This person married a woman from the Dominican Republic. On a visit to the island country his father-in-law became ill and needed medical treatment. He was taken to the hospital where treatments were to be paid by the government. That day the hospital was very busy and the patient was told he could not be treated “today” and would have to come back another time. Because the gentleman was very ill, his son-law began talking to the doctors and nurses and learned he could facilitate treatment if he paid money (which you and I know as a BRIBE), whereupon he paid the money and the patient was treated. Do not for a minute think this is an isolated incident. Be careful what you wish for or vote for.
At this point in our history we face very serious times if we allow our freedoms, prosperity and way of life to be stolen from us. (In other words, we need to learn how to vote) The method being use by our elected politicians here in the United States of America in their quest for power has worked in countries around the world for centuries. Look at Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, China, Haiti and more as examples of what happens when people allow the government to be all powerful. Unfortunately health care is the vehicle being used here by scaring people and making promises that can never be kept to facilitate their power grab.
Further, the history of the world is void of any example of successful government run programs, especially any social programs. The United States stands alone as a beacon of hope for the rest of the world. We cannot afford to lose this reality and we face this very danger now. Join me is helping to educate our citizenry about health care. Share this message with your friends, relatives and neighbors and remind them to add their email information so they may receive future articles about such things as; “Co-Pay health insurance does not work”, “we have become a nation of dependents”, “no need to be afraid of health care”, “kick lawyers out of health care”, “common sense should rules” and much, much more.
