Because it increasingly easier and cheaper to travel from one area to another, people in the modern world have begun taking a number of weekend breaks to various parts of the country. Individuals and couples, young and old, have started to travel more frequently through various media - albeit with the train, bus or plane, many people these days are just as likely to a weekend in Rome or Madrid, since they are in Blackpool or Cornwall. The London theater scene is flourishing at the moment and is perhaps the best location in Britain if you think about taking a weekend theatre break.
