Different grinding equipment, in the functional aspects of each has its own merits.Following on a variety of grinding equipment (ore grinding equipment) by comparing the advantages and disadvantages, so, in favor of the customer on the understanding and selection of grinding equipment.
Overflow Type Ball Mill (Overflow Ball Mill):
The main advantages are: simple structure, low repair rate, product size is fine (generally below 0.2mm);
The main disadvantages: treatment volume than the same specifications of Grate Type Ball Mill pulverization phenomenon of small, easy to produce.
Use: for the second segment and a third segment (or middling regrinding) grinding, also can be used for the first stage grinding operation.When the mill diameter greater than 3.6m, the first section of mine use Overflow Type Ball Mill.Because of this large size mill generally and hydrocyclone in closed loop (no corresponding specifications of Spiral Classifier with matching), using the overflow type Ball Mill can reduce mill discharge coarse grain content, thereby reducing pulp and cyclone wear.
Grate type ball mill:
The main advantages are: the discharging end is provided with a grid plate, discharge level is low, the product can be discharged in time, pulverization phenomenon is light; processing capacity is higher than the same specifications, overflow type ball mill high 10% ~ 15%;
The main disadvantages: ball loading capacity, required shaft power, equipment structure is more complex, repair rate is high, the weight of the equipment in.
Purpose: grate type ball mill product size limit is generally 0.2 ~ 0.3mm, commonly used in the first stage grinding.
Rod Mill:
Main advantages: have a certain selective grinding function, product size uniform, had to smash particles less than acceptable; and ball mill feed size (large feed size limit is generally 15 ~ 25mm); suitable for coarse grinding, the product size limit is generally 1 ~ 3mm; during rough grinding conditions, production high capacity.
The main disadvantages: downtime and rod, ball mill operating rate is low; fine grinding low yield.
Purpose: rod mill for two (or three) grinding in the first period of grinding, can also be used for tungsten tin ore grinding brittle.
Autogenous mill:
Main advantages: for mine large size (maximum size is usually 200 ~ 350mm), so it can be replaced, fine crushing and rough grinding operations, reduce production process and dust pollution (wet autogenous grinding), simplified workshops, reduction of ore dressing plant of the area; has a selective grinding effect, too smash particles; not wasting or less consumption of grinding medium; the mud moisture more cohesive ore using wet autogenous grinding can avoid conventional crushing, sieving process operation such as blocking problem.
The main disadvantages: in general, power consumption than conventional grinding high; the operation rate of the equipment is slightly lower than the ball mill; the feed size and grindability of sensitive, easy production fluctuation, more complicated operation.
