Magnetic Separator is used to separate magnetite, hematite, limonite, pyrrhotite, ilmenite smaller than 3 mm in wet way. It is also used to separate iron in coal, nonmetallic ore, construction industry, etc. We can provide Magnetic Separators of forward flow, semi counter flow and counter flow types according to customers’ request.
Magnetic Separator Working Principle:
After the ore pulp through feeding box inflows slot,under the feeding sparge pipe action of water flow, make a loose state into the slot for mining area. By a magnetic field effect, magnetic mineral grains occur together and form "magnetic regiment" or "magnetic chain", "magnetic regiment" or "magnetic chain" in in the pulp by magnetic role to poles movement, and adsorption in the cylinder. Due to the polarity of the poles of rotation direction along the cylinder is alternant permutation and in operation fixed, "magnetic regiment" or "magnetic chain" along with cylinder rotate, because by alternation magnetic poles produced by mixing phenomenon, mingled in the "magnetic regiment" or "magnetic chain"of the non-magnetic minerals such as gangue in turning off, and eventually was sucked in cylinder surface "magnetic regiment"or"magnetic chain"is concentrates. Concentrate with cylinder turned to magnetic edge force the weakest place, and under the action of discharging ore hoses flushing water discharge to concentrate slot. The non-magnetic or weak magnetic minerals in the pulp is left with pulp eduction slot outside, namely is tailing . Tailings again through a magnetic separators, can further recovery from tailings of magnetic minerals, improve recovery.
