The health care debate is heating up and it seems most of the voices we hear favor some form of "universal" health care and their premises are "it is the right of everyone to have health care" and the "assumption that it works". I challenge BOTH premises as being false. The first premise is not constitutional and the second is bogus because nowhere in the world has any form of universal health care displayed any success what so ever. Let's expose the four vocal groups that stand in the way of workable good health care so we can debate around these voices.

Group One is represented by about 10% of our society who are unwilling to take responsibility for their own health care and expect others to pay for their selfish irresponsibility. Just today I was listening to an exchange between our new President and one of the attendee and a "town hall" meeting being conducted in Florida. This lady, in an impassioned voice was lamenting that she needed health care, a new kitchen, a new car, and one other item (I think it was a new bathroom) and she wanted to know when he (the President) was going to provide it. What has happened to our country? This is so sad but this lady is typical of many in our society who are unwilling to accept personal responsibility for their needs and expect the government to provide them.

Group Two is all of the news media that give voice to the other groups because they think it represents power to them. This group uses platitudes and biased stories in their desire to force universal health care on us so they can share power with elected politicians over our lives. A current example of how our "Pravda news media" is controlling what they tell us. It has been learned that the citizens of this country are notifying their politicians they dislike the $1 Trillion economic stimulus at the rate of 100 to 1 against. Yet the news media is not reporting this and our arrogant politicians are ignoring the desires of the very people who elected them.

Group Three will be short. This group is made up of all the litigious lawyers out there who make millions suing health care workers doing their best to save lives. These people contribute NOTHING to the betterment of society and in fact are like a cancer on society. One of the biggest expenses for doctors is "malpractice" insurance. Last October I read a news story about how doctors were relocating to Texas. They were doing so because the State passed a tort reform law limiting liabilities and the Texas agency responsible for licensing doctors was 2,000 applications behind.

Group Four - All the politicians out there who espouse feeling our pain and want to give health care to everyone. They know nothing about health care and desire nothing but our vote to keep their sorry rear end in office. They should learn how to save money instead of only knowing how to spend it.

In fact one of the initiatives we should create could have the purpose of teaching politician how to save money instead of only spending money (and worse, it is our money).

Here are some numbers you need to remember. Our constitution calls for our politicians to be responsible for certain things like defending our shores. If one looks at our Federal budget only twenty percent (20%) is spent on those things mandated by the constitution. This means that eighty percent (80%) of our Federal budget is basically spent on "vote buying schemes" and I am fed up.

Without these four groups the health care debate would be intelligent and helpful. Our challenge is to become educated about what "health care" really is. It is available through Amazon, or from the publisher Eloquent Press, or from my website.

A debate on health care needs to happen. Citizens of this country, and the world, need to know what health care really is and not just what they hope it will be. To facilitate the debate we are launching a campaign utilizing the Internet and the vast resources now available. If you agree with us you can participate by helping to finance the effort as we can only go as far as our resources will let us.

Our plans are many fold;

1) we will be an advocate for health care programs based on "free-enterprise" principles and totally devoid of ANY government intervention,

2) we will be an advocate for a doctor friendly health care system,

3) we will be an advocate for businesses, both large and small, to be freed from health care responsibilities,

4) we will attempt to establish learning centers for politicians, and future politicians, to learn how to save our tax dollars instead of seeing how many of our tax dollars they can spend,

5) for those weak citizens with their hands held out and expecting government to provide for them, we will work for YOU because we know you will have better care with our approach than any government run program could ever provide, and

6) we will continue to expand our efforts as long as we have the resources and the energy.

Let's have a healthy debate about health care, not one made up of biased sound bites fed us through biased news media outlets. Instead, let's exchange ideas to help people around the world understand that health care provided by government IS NOT FREE.

Here is a newsflash for all to hear, a government does not have ANY MONEY with which to provide us with health care, or anything else for that matter, unless they first take the money from us in the form of TAXES, LICENSES, or FEES.

A government run health care system is fertile ground for abuse, inferior medical care, rationing, and corruption. TODAY, in this country NINETY PERCENT of our health care resources as used up by only TEN PERCENT of our population. Be careful what you ask for!
