Matthew J. Melendy is a co-founder of LMK Wealth Management, Managing Director, and Business Development Officer. A recognized individual in the wealth management industry, Matt was most recently a Financial Advisor at Wachovia Securities, one of the largest brokerage firms in the United States.
His career on Wall Street began in 2000 at Prudential Securities when he entered the firm’s Financial Advisor Career Development Program. He joined Wachovia Securities in 2004 as part of the merger of the two companies where he and his partner, Ken Leach built the largest practice in the branch. Prior to entering the brokerage business, Matt had a successful career in the natural gas industry where he was instrumental in starting the first natural gas distribution system in Florida in nearly thirty years.
Matt is a graduate of the University of Florida and alumni of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. He spends much of his personal time volunteering in his community and working with non-profit organizations.
Matt also enjoys spending time with his wife Sasha.
