Webinars are different. They are live, less structured, and totally dependent upon your participation. The more questions, the more everyone will learn. So please do a little reading before you attend the meeting you are attending. I've written articles on most subjects and described or illustrated most of the terms and concepts I'll be discussing with you.
If you haven't read the revised edition of "Brainwashing", you should find the time to read some of these articles before attending. Most webinars have lasted an hour and a half or longer, but they will be shorter if the questions dry up. None of the webinars will even hint at any Investment Products that you would be able to purchase either from Kiawah Golf (or not) Investment Seminars, Sanco Services, Inc., or Steve Selengut.
Suggested tools for equity investing (The S & P Stock Guide & The Watch List Program) may be purchased from Standard & Poor's Corporation and Merritt Information Strategies, respectively, with no financial benefit to yours truly.
Webinar Scheduling & How it Works:
Once you have registered for a Webinar, I'll do everything I can to get you ready. I'll be in touch by email asking for your questions, and I'll communicate the "Go to Meeting" instructions a day or two in advance of the meeting. No meeting will be conducted unless the minimum participation level is reached.
All webinars are conducted using Citrix "Go To Meeting" software, and no downloads of any kind are necessary for you to log in to any of them. The email I send to you will be your "ticket". It will contain the URL where the meeting is being held, and a number to key in when you get there.
You will be able to interact with the group by voice and by instant message. Headsets are seriously recommended--- seriously! Please make sure your volume is very low, and no other noise makers are in the room with you --- children, radio, TV, music, etc.
If you hear an echo when someone speaks, it means there is a problem with the microphone or the volume control; please help by keeping your microphone muted until you have something to say.
Remember, these are not "canned" lectures. We both need to be prepared. My desk top will be visible to you on your computer screen, and I will use visual aids and illustrations whenever I can. Please bring "on-topic" questions with you and fire them off whenever they are ready.
