We are true believers in the face-to-face process, but have been forced into other technologies due to time limitations and location. It's important to establish a face-to-face relationship initially so that a connection can be made, but after that, the connection can be maintained much more easily through texting, email, phone calls, webinars, video conferencing and my personal favorite, teleconferencing.
We are currently supporting many networking groups through teleconferencing because it is easy to do and everyone has access to a phone. We assess the needs of every aspect of an organization in terms of technology and other areas as expertise is available. Our teleconferences work similar to a networking meeting where, as moderators, we present the attendees, everyone introduces themselves and specifies their next needs, and we then provide an assessment for each person with recommendations and referrals from the group.
Although this is a great way to create a web presence for any networking group, The Virtual Networking Teleconference is a great way to maintain regular communications in less time, without spending money on gas and a place to meet. There are also many free services available to facilitate your meetings.
Here is a great no-cost conference call service.

LinkedIn Recommendation:
Jacqueline Riech - Desk Clerk at Data Systems - I am flying out to DC next month for one of Teo's seminars. Great stuff online, but I really want to meet him... nobody has done more for my business and I can't imagine anyone really helping they way he does. Just straight to the point information, and none of the fluff! I think he should be a life coach! - March 17, 2012, Jacqueline was Teo's client |
